Prava Therapy has the privilege of joining that energy—not changing what makes it special. We are bringing exceptional occupational therapy into a community already doing extraordinary things for its seniors.

We’re looking for a full-time OT who sees that as an honor—and understands that independence, identity, and joy are built through the everyday things people love to do.

A familiar routine becoming harder. A favorite activity quietly abandoned. A caregiver stepping in more often. A subtle change in memory, confidence, or self-care. These are the moments worth noticing—before someone loses a meaningful part of their day.

Here, OT can help someone get ready for the day with dignity, participate in a celebration, reconnect with a cherished activity, and continue the routines that make home feel like home. The goal is not simply doing more in therapy. It is living more fully beyond it.

We don’t want to wait until meaningful activities disappear. We want to help people keep doing what makes life theirs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Deliver individualized, occupation-centered OT addressing ADLs, IADLs, cognition, functional mobility, safety, and meaningful participation.

• Build trusted relationships with seniors and families, recognizing subtle changes in routines, cognition, and daily function early.

• Connect skilled treatment to what matters most: independence at home, valued routines, personal choices, and engagement in community life.

• Collaborate with First Senior Center’s team on appropriate screenings, cognitive and functional wellness education, and referral pathways.

• Coach families and caregivers on practical strategies, environmental adaptations, and routines that support dignity and autonomy.

• Help shape a community-embedded OT program rooted in clinical reasoning, cultural respect, participation, and measurable outcomes.

First Senior Center serves a vibrant Vietnamese community. Vietnamese fluency is preferred, and conversational Vietnamese is welcomed. Being able to connect with seniors and families in a familiar language can deepen trust, education, and understanding. Equally important is a genuine respect for the culture and people you serve.
